Choosing keepsake gifts

Wednesday, May 6th, 2009

I wanted to have a wedding that was not only full of great memories for me, but for our friends and family as well. So when I when to pick out gifts, I picked out things that they could remember it by. I wanted them to have something that will help them remember what a great time they had at our reception and how beautiful our ceremony was. I began by selecting keepsake gifts and moved on to things like a keepsake wedding gift. There were plenty of plans and products available online for creating an enjoyable wedding day experience. All of the things that I needed for my reception were there
My reception table centerpieces had flowers and scented candles surrounded by lace in a ceramic candle holder. My place card holders were adorable, and I got those on the web as well
I found some precious little picture frames with beads around them that I could use for my place card holders. If figured that if I wanted the folks who attended my reception to have good wedding keepsake gifts, the best way to do it was by giving them practical favors. If you’re giving a present anyway, I’ve always felt that you might as well get something that they can make use of somehow. If it has no usefullness, it’s probably going to be discarded or forgotten. My loved ones were going to get something they’d genuinely appreciate, if I had anything to say about it. Since almost everyone drinks coffee or tea, I got all of the people at our reception a bistro coffee mug. It’s a product that any person can utilize, and the ones I got looked really cool. I didn’t even have to worry about repackaging them because the containers they came in were so classy-looking already; all I did was put a decorative hang tag on every one of them.
I found so much online that I could use for our wedding reception. Our wedding cake topper was really something special. I wanted a cake topper that had some importance to us.
We were playing football together the first time we met, in a friend’s backyard. He tried a tackle that was, let’s just say, unforgettable, so I picked out a cake topper of a bride and groom with a football. The memories of my wedding day and the day we first met are both triggered by that cake topper.
