You can do just about anything you want at your wedding and reception now a days. Brides and grooms have lots of options for their special day. What I decided to do was go on the Internet and check out what it had to offer in terms of the products and supplies that I would need for the day I got married. Beautiful Heart Wedding Favors!

Is there any more effective way to express your love than to get married with a ceremony in the same month as Valentine’s Day? Putting the symbol of love all around our wedding day struck me as a wonderful way to celebrate marriage. I started it off with the loveliest tiara that I ran across online. The thank you gifts for everyone that I selected were just one of many supplies that I needed to buy for the wedding theme. I mailed out small cards that had two silver-colored hearts on the front of them for our invitations. The only thing I really had to do was write in the information, like the place and the date, and the rest was already filled out in beautiful calligraphy when we got them.
But that was only the beginning, after I mailed out the invitations I had to start planning the décor and ordering the supplies I would need. On each of the pews I had big red velvet bows with ribbon strung from one pew to the next. The altar was beautifully decorated, with wonderful candle holders and candles, including our unity candle which was adorned with a heart made of red roses. On the scene at the wedding, we put many pink and red roses mixed together, in the floral bouquet that I carried. I even went as far as to have caged doves to be released as we exited the church.
We had figured out what our young ring boy and flower girl and everyone else was going to wear. The basket for the flower girl was going to be adorned with white satin, with lace and bows on each side. There was a white double hearts wedding themed pillow with a pair of gold hearts on it that we got for our ring boy to use, along with a white ribbon made of satin for the rings. My flower girl was going to wear a small tiara, and it was very similar in appearance to the one I had picked out for myself. She wore a pretty pink dress, made for a flower girl, and she did such a wonderful job as a flower girl and looked so brilliant that I thought she did look like royalty. So did the ring boy, he was quite elegant in his little tuxedo with a red boutonniere in his lapel. He carried the ring pillow like a pro and kept in step with the rest of the wedding party. I was so proud of both of them.
The centerpieces we had made up for the reception dinner had tiny hearts intermixed with roses that were white, pink, and red. On each of the reception tables were little two hearts wedding candles to set the romantic mood of the theme I had chosen, and at each setting was the nicest place card holders I could find. I picked out small silver bells with handles in the form of a heart to give each of our guests as a present that would be a memento of our wedding. Every layer of our wedding cake was adorned with small red and pink roses, and the bottom section had tiny hearts running all the way around it. On top sat our very special keepsake hearts wedding cake topper made of white porcelain, which looked so elegant with all the other cake decorations.
I’m so glad we decided on a hearts wedding ceremony and reception. There were so many accessories and hearts wedding favors to choose from to help make my dream wedding come true. All of our guests were very impressed with the heart favor we gave to them and complimented us on the fabulous wedding and reception.

I always thought of keychain favors as a really cheap type of gift, until I got a look at some brilliant keychains that are available online. The way some of them are put together, however, they look very nice, and they are don’t cost much. Honestly I had never thought about shower keychain favors until I got a good look at some of the brilliant ideas they had for them. Some of the artwork on them depicted various wedding or honeymoon scenes, travel desinations, or scenes in nature. My favorite and the one we chose for our guests were the key chain party favors with a neat little measuring tape attached. That’s the type of thing that you like to have in a pinch. I also liked the engagement ring key chain favors, with a small rhinestone studded band. Isn’t it brilliant that you can find keychains that well designed? They also have a great key chain favor for bridal and baby shower parties.
The website I went to had a lot more than that. They had a wonderful selection of supplies and decorations for weddings and receptions as well. The wedding cake topper we picked out for our glorious cake was a sight to behold. The wedding cake topper, which looked lovely as it was, had my groom and my initials in silver, and then accented by small, shimmering crystals. The exquisite cake server set we picked out had handles that were made to like clothing for the bride and groom on their wedding day. Our table at the recpetion shone brilliantly with crystal glasses for the champagne and wine, and the rest of the tables there were just as pretty. The place card holders I got off the Internet matched perfectly with the fine china and champagne flutes. The design of the place card holders was pretty distinctive. The holders were basically small vases that held daisies, and then one of the petals had a slot that held the place card.
We were really impressed by the efforts of our caterers, with the several choices of salads, main entrees, and desserts. The musical performers we got for our reception were an awesome choice, too. My fiance was able to pull a few strings and get one of the best local bands in the area. These guys could play just about anything you requested. They played our song so beautifully that dancing our first dance together was one of the most magical moments of the night. One attendee at our wedding walked up and offered them a good chunk of change to come and play in about a month at his son’s engagement party.
Everything at our wedding and reception was spectacular and it just couldn’t have been better. We shot video of the wedding ceremony and our first dance as newlyweds, the photographer took all kinds of photos as well. The two memory books I got will be more than filled up with all of the pictures we took that day. For our living room, I picked out a special album to put on the coffee table, too. The frame on it is a silvery metal, and it has a pair of darling little hearts on it that just look exquisite. Oh, and then I got a photo album for our honeymoon pictures as well, since I knew that Cancun would have plenty of opportunites for taking great photos. I was quite ready for us to take all kinds of pictures during this special period in our lives.
Having all of my relatives and other loved ones watch my man and I say our vows together was unforgetably romantic. I will hang on to the many pictures and souvenirs that I have from our wedding day, forever. There were a lot of good memories of the honeymoon, too.

When my best friend informed me of a online shopping store for wedding accessories and supplies that could save us a little on the wedding expenses, I thought I’d give it a try. They even great deals on thank you gifts for our guests and bridal party, along with all the other fantastic wedding items they have to offer. Naturally, after getting a look at their inventory, I made the decision to order all my needed wedding supplies and decorations at their online store.
First of all, we decided to have a winter wonderland theme wedding since we were getting married in December, and I found so much to work with. First I ordered winter wonderland wedding bulletins to use as our wedding invitations. I lucked out when looking for my flower basket and ring pillow because I found a five piece wedding set that had both, plus a guestbook and pen set, and a nice leg garter to go along with it. I thought it would cost a lot more than it did for the matching five piece set. I was sitting on my couch thinking about how much better I felt about my body and about myself when I was in my twenties. I enjoyed physical exercise, and you could tell by looking at what a toned body I had. This was my first marriage and I wanted to plan the perfect wedding shower. I needed help, so I asked my sister if she would like to help me plan it. She agreed and was excited as much as I was. Planning a wedding shower is time consuming, but I couldn’t wait to start planning it. I always was good at planning showers, so I knew I could make this wedding shower a success. There was not a whole lot of time for me to plan my shower and I thought I better get started soon.
My sister and I looked for a hall big enough to fit all of my guests. We found a hall close by my home. We then went searching on the internet for all the decorations and gifts. We saw so many themed wedding shower ideas that were cute. I finally found all my decorations and purchased all the gifts I needed for the wedding shower. Our next step was to find shower favors. There were so many to choose from. This took some time to decide when looking at all the wonderful shower favors. When I came across a lovely handkerchief, I knew that is what I wanted my guests to get as a gift. I thought I could purchase one for me and have it on me the day I get married. I seen a lace handkerchief that was so beautiful. I knew right away that all my guests would love the mens handkerchiefs. I planned to get the lace handkerchief for a shower favor for all my guests.
All my plans we going well. We had the hall and ordered all the decorations, gifts and wedding favors. I had to decide what type of food I was going to get for my wedding party. We placed the order for the cake at a bakery near us. All the planning was finished. I found these awesome invitations and mailed them out to family and friends. All we needed to now is wait patiently for the day of the shower.
My shower day was here and me and my sister went to the hall early to set everything up. It took us about an hour to decorate the hall. When we were done decorating the room, we couldn’t get over how awesome the room looked. Luckly I bought my camera with me because I wanted to remember how gorgeous the room looked. The cake was on the table with the food and each table had a center piece. All the tables had a cotton handkerchief at each setting. If you saw the room, you would say the room looked so elegant.
My guests finally arrived and we all had such a great time. My guests enjoyed each other’s company. We ate and played games. I did not want my shower to end, because I had so much fun and so did my guests.
When it was time for my guests to leave, they commented how much of a good time they had and were happy to get the handkerchief. I am so glad I went with the handkerchief for the wedding favor. This day turned out so good and will be remembered for a life time. I am glad that my sister was so helpful in planning the shower with me. The couple picked out a heart wedding for their choice of décor, and what they did with it was spectacular. The presents, the invitations, the whole nine yards, all of the things in their wedding had a heart decoration of some kind on it. The heart weddings were really exquisite with two silver hearts printed on the front with all the necessary information on where, who and when printed inside. They were really quite beautiful. Even their unity candle for the ceremony had two little hearts hanging in front, and there were gorgeous candle holders for the unity candle and the tapered candles as well. The altar looked fabulous with all the lovely flower bouquets and the candle setting. They even had hearts hung on the end of each pew with the tulle draping from row to row. The fact that they tied the knot on Valentine’s Day no doubt had something to do with the whole hearts idea. I have to admit it was a beautiful ceremony and the bride was simply stunning.
Flowers and hearts abounded at the reception dinner. The silver hearts wedding theme carried over to the place cards holders at the reception tables, and they complimented the red and white rose centerpieces beautifully. The wine glasses and champagne glasses made the tables sparkle. The bride arranged the tables beautifully. The champagne flutes were long stemmed crystal and the wine glasses were personalized with the names of the bride and groom and the date of their wedding. On the table that the wedding party sat at, the new couple had very special champagne glasses. It was very much like the silver hearts wedding invitation they sent out; it was a silver double hearts wedding champagne glass for each of them.
They had a little magnificent hearts wedding cake with five layers of heavenly confection. It looked as good as it tasted. Maybe the one place in the whole wedding where there wasn’t a heart was at the top of the cake, where they had a customized miniature replica of the bride and groom that looked exactly like them. That cake topper was one of a kind, and it was the first time I’ve ever seen something like that. She said she bought it at a wedding website where she got all of her accessories and reception supplies. She took some pictures of her groom and herself, and from that, they put together a cake topper that could have been their twins. That’s something they’re going to enjoy looking at for many, many years.
It turned out to be a lovely hearts wedding. We got coffee in a bride or groom styled package, along with a heart shaped coffee scooper, and then we also got very pretty votive candle holders. I thought that was really a cute idea they came up with. Actually they had a lot of cute ideas for the ceremony and reception. The whole hearts genre matched Valentine’s Day, but I was still surprised at how many supplies and wedding items she found to fit that theme. I still can’t get over how cool that cake topper was. It would be great if they did that for birthdays and other ocassions too. She told me they have supplies and decorations for many events, and promised to show me where she shopped. Well, anyway, the wedding ceremony and the reception were a definite success and everyone had a wonderful time. I’m sure the bride and groom are having a great week in Mexico too. I can’t wait until they return and I can see all the pictures she took, listen to all the stories of the fabulous places they saw and things they did. The pictures she showed me on the brochures were fantastic.

Lovely Duck Shower Favors!

Kids need bathtub toys, and Sesame Street’s Ernie even sang a song about one of the classics, a tune called ‘Rubber Duckie You’re the One.’ It seemed like a longshot, but I checked to see if there were any duck baby shower available anyway, and I was pleasantly surprised. It was a lot simpler to put together such a baby shower than I anticipated it would be, especially with all of the outstanding input I gleaned from suring the Internet. There are a lot of adorable little duck favors and decorations to be found on the internet for baby showers and even toddler birthday parties.
I was holding the shower in my rec room in the basement so I had plenty of room to set up indivdual tables to seat four guests at each. On one end of the room was a table for all the shower gifts and on the other side of the room I had a buffet style table set up with all kinds of finger foods, drinks and deserts, including an adorable little yellow duck shaped cake with the words baby girl on the bottom layer. On the wall I had a huge cut out of Daisy Duck and smaller cutouts of Donald, Mickey and the whole Mickey Mouse Gang.
At each table were little pink picture frames that I used as place card holders and each frame came with a baby duck in the corner. There were duck favor candles at each table too and on the buffet table were paper plates, cups and napkins all with little baby ducks on them and even the punch bowl was unique. I went to a department store and purchased a little duck shaped baby bathtub and placed a glass punch bowl inside. It looked pretty adorable. I found an ice cube tray that made little duck ice cubes, so I put yellow water in them and froze them. Believe me, it was the most ducks you’ve ever seen in one place at one time.
On the world wide web, I found a bunch of great ideas, and that’s pretty much where I found everything I needed, but I did get a few recommendations from some of the people at my school. On the Internet is where I found duck shower favors, such as the lovely duck favor bookmarkers I found, and the duck candles, too. We used them as prizes for the contests we had at the baby shower, and all of the guests adored them.
I put some rubber duckies in a large, square-shaped, makeshift tub that I filled with water before anyone got to the shower yet. Underneath every rubber duck, I wrote a number, and the each guest plucked one out of the water as they arrived. Later on I drew a number out of a fish bowl and the person with that number won a prize. We had a lot of fun with the guess the baby picture game, too. I hung a baby photo of every guest who brought their baby picture along on a bulletin board. Each guest got a chance to check out the board and see how many pictures they were able to match up with the faces of the other guests. The duck baby shower favor went to the one who guessed accurately on the most pictures.
Everyone enjoyed themselves, and the new mommy picked up quite a pile of wonderul presents for her baby girl. Going on the net to help me put together this shower was an outstanding decision. At first I wasn’t too sure about it, but it turned out to be a really great baby shower. Going with the whole duck genre worked out swimmingly.
