Going online seemed like a good idea to find a wedding guest pen and other supplies. It was a good idea, I found all sorts of styles and decorative colors, and I also found different weddings you can choose from. There were a lot of choices I was rather captured by, as far as themes for weddings and receptions. Since our ceremony is in January, I thought a winter wonderland wedding and reception would be ideal. At first, I kinda wished we were getting married in early December so we could have a Christmas wedding, with a big tree and everything Christmasy. But from all the themed wedding accessories I’ve seen, a winter wedding is beautiful too. A winter wedding was the one I chose. Now it was time to put my plans in motion.

First I found the perfect winter wonderland wedding invitations to send to our friends and family. Then I went for all the winter accessories for our wedding ceremony, from flower girl basket to ring boy pillow. I was sure I picked out all the accessories I had to have for our winter wedding, but that wasn’t the case. The wedding guestbook and wedding pen completely slip my mind. Then I checked out all the winter guest books and wedding pen sets available until I found just the right one for our ceremony. The guest book was designed with snowflakes and a little blue thrown in with sparkling little crystals. They also had the wedding pens that went perfectly with this gorgeous winter guestbook. While I was on the search for our guest book and pen, I also decided to find our wedding photo album. There were a lot of wedding albums to choose from, but what really surprised me was all the anniversary albums they had available. I planned to keep this in mind for future references.

It was time now, to check out ideas for decorating our reception and getting our supplies. They had it all as far as winter wonderland wedding supplies, and the first thing I bought for the reception were the champagne flutes, designed to match our wedding guest book and pen. They have such beautiful wedding stemware. With all the beautiful crystal champagne flutes, the gel candles and the exceptional looking centerpieces I picked out, our reception tables were simply elegant. We were also able to get quite a few accessories and supplies at a discount and save money on our wedding expenses, which really helped us out. As beautiful as it all was, it’s hard to believe they didn’t cost a lot more.

There were a lot of cake toppers to check out too. We had a beautiful cake topper with a bride and groom enjoying the winter season. Our wedding cake was a five tiered with white sugar snowflakes and winter designs of icy blue and reds. Our choice of a wedding cake stand was a big silver sled. Our sled cake stand got a lot of compliments from our friends and family and I had to thank my fiance for that creative suggestion.

On our the reception tables for our friends and family I had chosen these adorable little snowmen place card holders. I also chose wedding favors that were little snowflake gel candles for our guests. One of the prettiest decorations to the reception table was the gorgeous snowflake boxes the wedding favors were boxed in for our friends and family. They really made the tables look so festive. The cheap wedding pens went over surprisingly well, and everyone really had a wonderful time at the reception. The wedding ceremony and the winter reception was everything I wanted it to be, and I’m so glad I decided to give the online shopping a try. It really helped out a lot with the planning and decorating.
