Planning a wedding and reception can be a very hectic and exciting time, filled with so many options on what to choose for themes, decorations, etc. My daughter and I were planning her wedding day together and the hardest part of the whole thing was getting her to make up her mind. First she didn’t know if she wanted a themed wedding or if she would rather go with a traditional ceremony and reception. My girl picked out small, shiny silver picture frames to use as place card holders at the reception dinner. She said she liked those best because after the reception the guests could take them home and use them to display their favorite little picture. After looking at all of the items she selected for her ceremony and reception, I’d say she did a pretty good job of it. The look and experience of our wedding day was a smashing success with our guests. When the bride and groom did their first dance, it was a stunningly beautiful moment. The memories of that night were terrific; I danced until my feet got sore, and I don’t regret a second of it. With my daughter married, she may have a baby girl at some point in their lives.
