Choosing wedding guest book
Wednesday, May 6th, 2009Planning a wedding and reception can be a very hectic and exciting time, filled with so many options on what to choose for themes, decorations, etc. My daughter and I were planning her wedding day together and the hardest part of the whole thing was getting her to make up her mind. First she didn’t know if she wanted a themed wedding or if she would rather go with a traditional ceremony and reception. We looked through all the themed wedding possibilities and she just couldn’t decide. At first she thought about a garden wedding, and then she considered a beach themed wedding and reception. After all the debating, she ended up with the traditional. Once she made up her mind at last, we got to work putting together the wedding.
We shipped out the invitations, and we signed up to reserve the church for the ceremony and a reception hall for the reception dinner. We focused on the materials we’d need for the reception dinner since her wedding gown and the outfits for the bridesmaids and groomsmen had already been selected. We had to pick out a wedding guest book and a photo album and a few other items that we’d need. A lot of the many wedding guest books we found had lovely art work on them. A substantial number of the sign-in books had wedding pens that went with them, and they were just as pretty. Our new bride discovered a six piece wedding set with rhinestones that had bows and satin boxes, both white, as we were nearing the end of our shopping. Along with a ring pillow and wedding garter, which were very attractive, was a charming flower basket and unity candle. A
guest book for wedding came with it. We were so surprised to find so many beautiful wedding items all in one set for one low price. The picture album we picked out for the special day was really cute; it had all kinds of neat pages for small souvenirs and art. Talk about a wonderful picture book to cherish your memories with.
At last, we got around to buying wedding favors, a topper for the wedding cake, and place cards holders for the reception. That was all we had left to pick out. She chose a lovely wedding cake topper with two doves made of glazed porcelain. The pair of doves will make an exquisite figurine that will help her memories of the wedding day last a lifetime. My girl picked out small, shiny silver picture frames to use as place card holders at the reception dinner. She said she liked those best because after the reception the guests could take them home and use them to display their favorite little picture. After looking at all of the items she selected for her ceremony and reception, I’d say she did a pretty good job of it. The extra cash she was able to hang on to by finding good deals is going to get spent when they go on the honeymoon.
The look and experience of our wedding day was a smashing success with our guests. When the bride and groom did their first dance, it was a stunningly beautiful moment. The memories of that night were terrific; I danced until my feet got sore, and I don’t regret a second of it. With my daughter married, she may have a baby girl at some point in their lives. I’m sure that when the time comes to pick out accessories and gifts for the baby shower, I’ll know right where to go. Whatever you’re planning a party for, that website has anything you could possibly need. That’s the first place I look to buy things for any party.
