Choosing champagne toasting glasses

Wednesday, May 6th, 2009

We picked January for the wedding day since I have always wanted a wedding that had a winter motif. More than enough products are available to help fulfill any bride’s wish for a wedding with a winter genre. Presents, invitations, reception supplies – you name it, there are all sorts of things out there for any type of wedding decor. Our wedding ceremony color scheme was in silver and wintery blue. We also had fake snow and lovely candles at the altar, including our winter themed unity candle. It really was a gorgeous wedding ceremony.
At the reception we had white tablecloths with red table runners on each and every reception table there. I had beautiful white orchids in gorgeous silver vases for our centerpieces and they went so well with the winter décor. As for our place card holders I found the most lovely snowball ornament card holders for our reception. Whether we use them as ornaments or place card holders, they look fabulous, and they can be used for either. As wedding thank you gifts for our friends and family we decided on these lovest toasting flutes and little novelty champagne bottles favors with bubbles. champagne toasting glasses make great little thank you gifts. Our reception hall called to mind a scene of freshly-fallen snow in the middle of winter. Our three tiered wedding cake sat on a unique little sled designed cake stand and had a topper that was a porcelain snowflake to complete our winter wedding cake. I picked out the cake serving set on the net, and it had wintery designs on it, too. Small snowflakes in shades of blue and white were on the handles. Perfect for our themed reception and the handles matched with the winter wedding guestbook and pen I picked out.
The handles on the personalized toasting flute matched the sign in book and cake serving set we had, all with winter designs. The coloring scheme was cool blue and white with a few small snowflakes to match everything else on our table. Our reception guests loved the place card holders and other gifts that they received, and the look of the tables was to die for. The mini tiara our flower girl wore was hers to keep, and we got her a necklace besides, which she was very pleased about. We got a ring boy tee shirt and a stainless steel yo-yo for our ring bearer, and he thought that was really neat. I got tank tops with crystals spelling out the word bridesmaid on them for all of my girls, plus I got my maid of honor a crystal bracelet besides. My new husband decided to handle buying the groomsmen’s gifts. He bought a best man mug and a neat pen set for the best man, and everyone else received a battery-operated digital clock. It was pretty obvious by the way everyone was laughing and dancing that they were really enjoying themselves at our wedding reception, a quite a few of them thanked us for the lovely gifts we had bought for them as wedding favors.
Everything at our wedding and reception was fantastic and I owe it all to the wonderful selection of accessories and supplies I found online. We also saved a little money by shopping online, with all the discounts and wholesale items they had to choose from. It wasn’t just wedding items, either; I got plenty of things for the honeymoon as well. We found a shirt and hats that said ‘Bride’ and ‘Groom’ on them, and a pillow to hang outside our door indicating that we did not wish to be bothered. The ‘Do Not Disturb’ pillow ended being a very practical choice.

Choosing keepsake gifts

Wednesday, May 6th, 2009

I wanted to have a wedding that was not only full of great memories for me, but for our friends and family as well. So when I when to pick out gifts, I picked out things that they could remember it by. I wanted them to have something that will help them remember what a great time they had at our reception and how beautiful our ceremony was. I began by selecting keepsake gifts and moved on to things like a keepsake wedding gift. There were plenty of plans and products available online for creating an enjoyable wedding day experience. All of the things that I needed for my reception were there
My reception table centerpieces had flowers and scented candles surrounded by lace in a ceramic candle holder. My place card holders were adorable, and I got those on the web as well
I found some precious little picture frames with beads around them that I could use for my place card holders. If figured that if I wanted the folks who attended my reception to have good wedding keepsake gifts, the best way to do it was by giving them practical favors. If you’re giving a present anyway, I’ve always felt that you might as well get something that they can make use of somehow. If it has no usefullness, it’s probably going to be discarded or forgotten. My loved ones were going to get something they’d genuinely appreciate, if I had anything to say about it. Since almost everyone drinks coffee or tea, I got all of the people at our reception a bistro coffee mug. It’s a product that any person can utilize, and the ones I got looked really cool. I didn’t even have to worry about repackaging them because the containers they came in were so classy-looking already; all I did was put a decorative hang tag on every one of them.
I found so much online that I could use for our wedding reception. Our wedding cake topper was really something special. I wanted a cake topper that had some importance to us.
We were playing football together the first time we met, in a friend’s backyard. He tried a tackle that was, let’s just say, unforgettable, so I picked out a cake topper of a bride and groom with a football. The memories of my wedding day and the day we first met are both triggered by that cake topper. [spin]I was really surprised that I had found such a novel wedding cake topper as this one was, and not only that, I also found gorgeous wedding

Choosing wedding guest book

Wednesday, May 6th, 2009

Planning a wedding and reception can be a very hectic and exciting time, filled with so many options on what to choose for themes, decorations, etc. My daughter and I were planning her wedding day together and the hardest part of the whole thing was getting her to make up her mind. First she didn’t know if she wanted a themed wedding or if she would rather go with a traditional ceremony and reception. We looked through all the themed wedding possibilities and she just couldn’t decide. At first she thought about a garden wedding, and then she considered a beach themed wedding and reception. After all the debating, she ended up with the traditional. Once she made up her mind at last, we got to work putting together the wedding.
We shipped out the invitations, and we signed up to reserve the church for the ceremony and a reception hall for the reception dinner. We focused on the materials we’d need for the reception dinner since her wedding gown and the outfits for the bridesmaids and groomsmen had already been selected. We had to pick out a wedding guest book and a photo album and a few other items that we’d need. A lot of the many wedding guest books we found had lovely art work on them. A substantial number of the sign-in books had wedding pens that went with them, and they were just as pretty. Our new bride discovered a six piece wedding set with rhinestones that had bows and satin boxes, both white, as we were nearing the end of our shopping. Along with a ring pillow and wedding garter, which were very attractive, was a charming flower basket and unity candle. A
guest book for wedding came with it. We were so surprised to find so many beautiful wedding items all in one set for one low price. The picture album we picked out for the special day was really cute; it had all kinds of neat pages for small souvenirs and art. Talk about a wonderful picture book to cherish your memories with.
At last, we got around to buying wedding favors, a topper for the wedding cake, and place cards holders for the reception. That was all we had left to pick out. She chose a lovely wedding cake topper with two doves made of glazed porcelain. The pair of doves will make an exquisite figurine that will help her memories of the wedding day last a lifetime. My girl picked out small, shiny silver picture frames to use as place card holders at the reception dinner. She said she liked those best because after the reception the guests could take them home and use them to display their favorite little picture. After looking at all of the items she selected for her ceremony and reception, I’d say she did a pretty good job of it. The extra cash she was able to hang on to by finding good deals is going to get spent when they go on the honeymoon.
The look and experience of our wedding day was a smashing success with our guests. When the bride and groom did their first dance, it was a stunningly beautiful moment. The memories of that night were terrific; I danced until my feet got sore, and I don’t regret a second of it. With my daughter married, she may have a baby girl at some point in their lives. I’m sure that when the time comes to pick out accessories and gifts for the baby shower, I’ll know right where to go. Whatever you’re planning a party for, that website has anything you could possibly need. That’s the first place I look to buy things for any party.

Choosing jewelry box online!

Wednesday, May 6th, 2009

Getting the products I needed for the ceremony and reception required some thought, but as I turned my attention to getting a present for my bridesmaids, it dawned on me that I had a long ways to go yet. I had a really difficult time finding exactly what I wanted to get for them. I saw all kinds of possiblities for wedding favors for bridesmaids and wedding guests on the Internet. But the hard part was picking out which was the best to buy. I found some bargains on thank you presents, too. One particular eight-piece set I found saved me a lot of money; it had a pillow for the ring bearer, a basket for the flower girl, a pen and sign-in book for guests, and several other things, all in one. That was a big savings. Instead of having to buy each piece separately, I was able to purchase it all together at a great low price.
I was just browsing through possible thank you presents when I finally came across something the women standing up for my wedding would like: a beautifully adorned jewelry box.  there were multiple wedding jewelry boxes that were very fancy. The choices for what to get my bridesmaids were so many that I finally just went back to planning the rest of the wedding because my head was spinning. I still had to get supplies and accessories for the reception even though the wedding ceremony was all but taken care of. I didn’t have my wedding cake topper yet, nor did I have the wedding favors for my friends and family, so that’s where I went next. I picked out some really cute bride and groom salt and pepper shakers and chrome bottle openers shaped like doves. The doves were really nice and they came in a very decorative package, so I didn’t have to buy favor boxes for them. My man got the groomsmen a neat little multi-purpose tool that had a tiny scissors and a toothpick and all kinds of weird gadgets.
We got a figurine of a bride and groom holding each other to put at the top of our cake. The newly weds were my ultimate choice, but I checked out a lot of options, and I nearly settled on one with crystals and initials written in silver. With all of the rest of it out of the way, it was time to make the call on a present for my bridemaids. I did go with cheap jewelry boxes for each of them, and also bought a piece of unique wedding jewelry to put inside. I chose a beautiful rhinestone bracelet for all of them. It wasn’t over-the-top, even though it might seem that way. There were a lot of choices of discount wedding jewelry available, which meant I could get them something really nice, and still save money. In fact I bought my pearl wedding jewelry to go with my wedding gown there too. The quality of the jewelry is top-notch, and the prices are deeply discounted. The girls really loved their thank you gifts and I guess the guys were happy with what my fiance chose for them too.
It turned out to be the best day of my life and we all had such a great time at the reception. Two single people drew some attention: my husband’s brother snatched the garter out of the air, and my sister won the bouquet toss. I wonder if this could be the start of something big? If anything came of it and my sister and his brother end up married, that means my sister would also be my sister in law. You never know!

Best baby boy shower gift!!

If the nursery hasn’t been fully decorated yet, some great ideas would be growth charts with little cartoon animals on it or perhaps a night-light to little teddy bear photo albums. You can get creative baby shower gifts, like a bunch of diapers made up to look like a cake with baby toys and booties all around it, or perhaps some bubble bath. You can use just about any little item for baby for this super diaper cake, and it’s very decorative too. One great thing to do for the woman who’s about to be a mom is to get her some personalized baby shower gifts. I’ve always felt that you can’t go wrong with a small box for the newborn’s first tooth and another one for his or her first curl. The boxes come plated with silver, and they are a wonderful thing for the mother to treasure. As with many things, there are ones with blue liner for boys and ones with pink liner for girls. That’s something special to hang on to, just like their little footprints and handprints. It’s not just presents like playpens and cribs that will be well-taken; also some of the small gifts can be the best received of all. You can find cheap baby shower gifts that are also very desirable. Some products are always needed by moms with a newborn. Clothing for the baby is frequently a popular choice, from socks to hats and anything in between, rather than spending an arm and a leg for a gift. One thing’s for sure: the new mom can use all of them.
A bag for carrying diapers or diapers themselves are not only among the best baby shower gifts, they are also the most practical. There is a treasure trove of options out there on the world wide web if you’re looking to get a present for a woman who’s about to have a baby. If you are the one who’s throwing the baby shower, make sure you get a little something for those who attend. You could get scrapbooks or small picture frames for your baby shower party gifts. Something a bit tastier would be candies or chocolates inside a pretty box with a ribbon. There are quite a few options when it comes to gifts for a baby shower. You can find everything from adorable baby themed candles to scented soaps, which not only work well as thank you gifts, but make fantastic prizes in all the baby games you’ll play.
Whether you are the hostess of the baby shower or you are a guest, you have many great little baby shower gifts to choose from online. I found my baby shower presents online, along with almost all of the items I needed for my wedding as well. It’s easy, convenient and there is just such a fantastic selection of party favors to choose from for almost any occasion you can think of.

Best wedding candle centerpieces

Sunday, May 3rd, 2009

There are tons of suggestions for great wedding favor gifts for the people invited to your wedding ceremony and party with you at your reception. You may want to give your guests, place card holder picture frames, or perhaps a cute little novelty favor for whatever theme you’re having, or you can choose from lots more great ideas for your friends and family. For our thank you gifts to our guests, we decided on candle wedding favors, because they’re not only beautiful, but they are practical too. I bought hang tags that I found to be very special to go with the colorful favor boxes for everyones gift.
For each of our reception tables I ordered splendid wedding candle centerpieces, just for display. The candles, decorations, and the gorgeous flower arrangements for my centerpieces really looked fantastic together. It’s not just weddings that have the candle gifts for, graduations, birthdays and many other themed events had candle party favors to choose from, and a really nice candle holder wedding for bridal shower parties too. But there’s a lot more that candles and wedding favors at the place I shop at for wedding accessories.
With all the accessories necessary for a nice wedding and reception, I was really lucky to find a nice five piece accessory set, which included my guestbook, wedding pen set, ring pillow and bridal garter and a really gorgeous little flower girl basket. That really helped us out in the financials of buying all the wedding supplies we need. They carry a lot of discount accessories and supplies, like wholesale candles wedding favors and many other products for ceremonies and receptions.
The cake topper we ordered was really unique and was worth a lot more than what it cost us. This lovely cake topper was a bride and groom figurine that were exact replicas of me and my fiance, and our guests were really astonished. All that was required of us was to turn in a couple of head shots of each of us so they would have something to work with. The three tiered chocolate wedding cake we had made was just gorgeous and was decorated with all red and pink flowers surrounding it. Right beside our lucsious chocolate perfection was the most gorgeous cake knife serving set I’ve ever seen, and I insisted on buying this lovely calla lily set.
We ordered special champagne flutes for our wedding table that saids ‘bride’ and ‘groom’ on them, and other crystal flutes for our guests, that they were also given to take home. We figured it would make more sense to let our guests have them as souveniers then to try to find a place to put 200 champagne flutes. With our guestbook with all the signatures, our gorgeous picture album, our very unique wedding cake topper and so much more, we really didn’t need much else for keepsakes. Our wedding guestbook was in the five piece set we bought and it was a gorgeous claret color, with a place for signatures, gift list and certain keepsakes. It’s nice to look back someday and see the names of all that celebrated your special day with you, and it comes in handy when you are preparing your thank you cards for everyone. You don’t want to say, ‘thank you for your gift’, when you could mention the item they bought for you, so they know you care.
A few of the guests commented on what unique candle wedding favors we gave them and they really seemed to appreciate them. So, I guess I made the right choice. As we were leaving for our honeymoon, many of the guests wished us well and told us they had a great time at our reception. Our wedding day is a day that will live long in our memories.

Best new party favors!

Sunday, May 3rd, 2009

I look back at my wedding day and see the difference in how things have changed in decorations and how great they look. When I started browsing the internet I found so many beautiful wedding and reception accessories for almost any type of wedding you could imagine. If you want a beach party wedding you can find beach party accessories like beautiful little seashells and starfish, just to name a couple. There were also some pretty clever ideas for garden and other summer and spring weddings and receptions. I found very exceptional new wedding selections for seasonal ceremonies. There are winter season decorations and all their accessories with the glitter and gold that will definitely be a beautiful addition to your themed decor. I actually heard that some brides and grooms have an outside winter wedding. That sounds beautiful, but it seems just a little too modern, and too cold for my taste. If I were planning a wedding it would have to be indoors and not outside in the cold. The best place for a winter wedding would be in a setting with a warm cozy fire and warm atmosphere.

There were also quite a bit to choose from for autumn weddings too, which is really my favorite time of the year. An autumn wedding would be so beautiful because of the beautiful scenery with the colors changing and awesome fall scents in the air. My wedding day was so long ago that the choices we had were being married in the church or running away and getting married. Today there are so many various weddings you can plan, that you can have the wedding you always wanted. There are even long distance weddings, where everybody takes a trip to where the wedding will take place. It’s like having a family elopement. There are also a great new wedding party favor selection, from everything from traditional to destination weddings that you can buy for your reception.

Soon my daughter will be getting married and I have been helping her to prepare for her country western wedding and reception. I would of never guessed that a country western wedding would be so great until I helped my daughter plan hers. She found cake toppers that have a western theme to them, plus everything she needed for her bridal table, including western champagne flutes. They’re really quite unique looking. She’s set up a country band, barbecue grills and hay bales that will be part of the party decor. There will be lights and lanterns strung throughout the reception, giving it that western look. She order western place card holders and watercans for the centerpieces and put flowers in them. To my surprise they planned to rent a western ranch for the wedding. She ordered quite a few wedding accessories online that will go perfectly with the country western theme. She also purchased cowboy hats for herself and her groom and the most splendid new weddings for her guests.

Instead of a normal reception it is looking more like a family get together that has hayrides and outdoor grills. It sounds like it will be a fantastic time for all the guests. I was surprised to hear that they are going to have a barn dance in a good ole country western style. Now that I knew what to expect I decided to get all the western gear, like blue jeans, cowboy boots, and cowboy hats so I can participate in all the fun. This wedding is going to be the wedding of the year and probably won’t be forgotten for a long time. Our daughter’s wedding was so much fun, that I’m considering have a country western renewal ceremony and reception for our anniversary.
